“I am the light of my soul. I am beautiful, I am bountiful, I am bliss.”
This phrase comes from a song by Ajeet Kaur, “Light of my soul”.
I LOVE this song!
I like it so much that I listen to it every day, during my morning Sadhana (my spritual practise). I play it at the end of my kyra, during the relaxation time. It is my daily gift to myself. Sometimes I also listen to it during the day and play it to my students in their classes.
And now I invite you to listen to it too. Because this song speaks pure truth:
“I am the light of my soul. I am beautiful, I am bountiful and I am bliss”
It’s true. It’s the reality. This is who we are.
But most of the time we forget it, or we don’t believe it about ourselves.
We often have so many emotional blockages that we negate or reject that we actually are, beautiful, bountiful and happy… we fail to remember our souls.
So it is vital that we live and breathe those words. Listen to them, repeat them every day, until they become a part of us.
And each time that we disregard or scorn ourselves (which happens to us all at one time or another) we should make a conscious choice to change direction and sing the words “I am the light of my soul. I am beautiful, I am bountiful and I am bliss”.
This will help you to reconnect with your inner light and find your truth path in life.

Gabrielle I love reading your emails threads. They always come as a lovely little surprise when I’m checking my emails and have some time to kill. Always prefer your emails than the work ones!
So .. I am thinking of packing in my job and doing my yoga teacher training!! I want the yogi life, to enter more and more into the spiritual world of health and happiness, facing life’s challenges with a positive purpose, not getting back ache from sitting at a desk and completing long meaningless tasks. To then help teach and guide people like myself, to experience and enjoy the wonders that come with entering a yogi life professionally (or as I imagine it to be anyway, if i can feel as great as I do after a yoga work out then hell yeh I want to become a yoga teacher too!) My biggest is fear is that it’s not financially sustainable… Do you have any advice or guidance for me considering this. I have some savings but not a huge amount. But not sure how long I can stay in this city job for.
Ps if I ever come via Madrid I’ll 100% Come for a class.
Thanks for advice in advance! X
Thank you Alice! And welcome to the Yogui world. You will see, it is a wonderful path.
The fear of earning enough money is one of the many fears we have to face during our Teacher Trainings… but don’t worry about that now. Listen to your soul and let you guide. There is always a way. And all the Yoga Teachers I know have found their own way to earn money and enjoy a lovely life… some teach at home, others in gyms, others rent a yoga studio… Don’t worry, you will find the answer you need… just be confident. I am sure you will do great. Sat Nam, Gabrielle – Puranshant Kaur
