I have great fondness for my Kundalini Yoga teachers, but there are three other people who have become very special to me along the way.
Many years ago, I discovered a book by Deepak Chopra in a bookshop in Paris. Once I started reading it, I fell in love with his outlook on life. His way of talking about the “here and now”, of describing infinity and the connection between the body, the mind and the soul. It all lit a small flame within me, which grew and intensified over the years.
A few years later (thanks to a friend)I heard talk of Wayne Dyer. I listened to one of his conferences and started to become passionate about the “law of attraction”.
Then a few months after that, I fell in love with lovely Louise Hay and her message of loving oneself. It was the essential piece that was missing from my spiritual puzzle and the one that led me, indirectly, to Kundalini yoga.
I discovered these three people completely independently from one another. Yet I recently found out that they all have a strong bond and are great friends (Louise is Editor to Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra).
But I am not really surprised! All three vibrate on the same level and are the perfect example, of the law of attraction in action.
When a person is full of love, is thankful for their life, is aware that we are all connected and trusts their intuition; they eventually cross paths with others who vibrate at the same level and connect with them straight away.
It’s the way of life. And it applies to all of us. That’s why it is so important to reconnect with our interior light and follow our intuition. Because at the end of the road, we can then connect with beautiful people and our lives can be extraordinary.

Hi Gabrielle, I love your website by the way..the design, the feel…it resonates who you are!! Anyway, I agree about Wayne Dyer and all that you have said but, I really struggle when dealing with people who aren’t on the same wave length and who can’t be bothered, won’t try, don’t care, are rude, etc. That is the moment when I lose all my well meaning thoughts…unfortunately! I will get myself out to one of your classes one of these days!!
Hello Lucy, I totally understand. Not always easy. Especially when people are rude or full of anger. In such cases, I always think about Yogi Bhajan’s quote “If you are willing to look at another persons behaviour toward you as a reflection of the state of their relationship with themselves rather than a statement about your value as a person, then you will, over a period of time, cease to react at all.” Hope this quote helps you as much as it helps me.
I would love to see you in class. Pop in whenever you want. xoxo, Gabrielle – Puranshant Kaur
